Wool on cotton foundation, the central medallion with field of mina khana motif on burnt orange field, floral spandrels, the main border with repeating palmette and foliate scrolling motifs, within multiple minor borders.

Rug was made with sections of navy blue that were replaced with brown throughout the carpet, as well as abrash to orange field; significant wear with loss to pile and exposed foundation; repaired hole to center; another small hole; areas of staining; fringes trimmed away.
