Gosnell for John Scott and Thomas Ostell, 1803 (one of two editions printed in the same year). Later binding in brown buckram with title label on the spine, fresh endpapers. 4to; iv, 47, [1]pp. With engraved frontispiece, engraved title in French of the 1786 edition, portrait of Holbein, with the (46) copper-plates as called for, plus two additional plates; with descriptions of plates in French and English. Brunet III 258.

Boards with very light shelf wear, chipping to spine label; interior with occasional grime, light to moderate offsetting, scattered foxing, a couple of minor tears, one plate trimmed slightly short at outer margin, and old writing on French title page. A very good copy with strong impressions.
