Wool on cotton needlepoint canvas with velvet backing with zippered openings; the first with white dog head in pink and cold collar on white background, yellow and tan border, tan backing with piping edge, feather-filled insert (14.5 x 14.5 in.); the second with a brown and white spaniel in a natural landscape, brown velvet backing, dark gold braided edging with loops at each corner, label to verso for Katha Diddel Home Collection, poly-fill insert (14 x 14 in.); the third with two terriers and a ball, taupe backing, edged in blue and red twisted silk cording with tassels to each corner, with poly-fill insert (13 x 16 in.).
From the Estate of the late Lynette G. Totten, Butner, North Carolina Light wear; some fraying to edge cording on two pillows; some light yarn picks to surface of needlework; 1-inch section of stitch loss to zipper seam of terrier pillow.
