Overall very good estate condition, browned damascus barrel pattern rings with a clear deep tone, bores are clean and bright with slight wad fouling, barrel to action fit is tight, forend fit is slightly loose indicating possible worn j-hook, minimal screw slot damage, engraving is somewhat sparse but crip, receiver patina is a shiny old gun brownish hue, original stock finish is in healthy condition, numerous light field marks scattered throughout, small chip behind right lock plate, very fine checkering pattern in largely very good condition with some clogging and scattered small sections of flattening, original factory buttplate in excellent condition that clearly depicts a pair of dogs pointing to the right.
