Framed Antique Handpainted and Gilt Hand Fan

Late 19th century, likely French, handpainted paper leaf featuring a scene of deities and cupids in celestial setting and flanked by gilt floral and foliate ornament, above pierced and gilt mother of pearl sticks and shoulders, held within a later conforming carved and painted wood frame with bas relief floral ornament and rope form trim, fan is loose in frame over a powder blue velvet backing, unsigned.
