Scottish Mahogany Tall Case Clock, Matthew Wylie

Glasgow, 19th century, 12-inch engraved brass and steel dial with subsidiary dial signed "MATTHEW WYLIE / Glasgow," mounted within a mahogany veneered case with drumhead hood carved with foliate scrolled motifs, over a tapering case with canted corners featuring carved floral and foliate corbels, flanked by cove moldings, atop a rectangular base raised on compressed ball feet. Includes weights and pendulum.
