Raised in Santa Fe, Dolona Roberts's work combines the rich artistic and cultural influences of the Southwest with influences from teachers such as the Abstract Expressionist Elaine de Kooning. Her work is characterized by the fascinating use of color and geometric shapes. Roberts has won numerous awards for her work, and her paintings and prints can be found in several collections such as the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
