Franklin Center, PA: The Franklin Library, 1977-1996; all limited editions and signed by the author; 8vo; finely bound in gilt-decorated full genuine leather with moire or marbled paper endpapers, satin ribbon bookmarks, and all edges gilt. Includes titles by authors such as John Updike, Eudora Welty, Ralph Ellison, Tennessee Williams, and many others, as well as the following first editions from the "Signed First Edition" series: Joan Didion's The Last Thing He Wanted, Philip Roth's The Anatomy Lesson, Mickey Spillane's Black Alley, and Isaac Bashevis Singer's The Penitent; with no duplicate titles.

Largest 9 3/4 x 6 3/8 in.; Smallest 8 1/4 x 6 1/2 in.

Occasional signs of wear including light shelf wear, mild foxing and wear to page edges, typical separation from text block at ends, and discoloration to endpapers; generally very clean internally except for one volume with water damage/staining to leaves from first free endpaper through the first text page; all volumes are very good or near fine.
