Lot Details & Additional Photographs
The first image depicts a seated Union infantry officer with his sword, the bugle on his kepi signifying his branch of service. The second image shows a man holding the reins of a noble white horse; he also appears to be holding a Hardee hat, but there is not enough evidence in the image to confirm a military association.

Frames 3 1/4 x 3 3/4 in.

Private Ohio Collection

Fading to the equestrian image, however neither photograph appears to have lost much, if any, emulsion. Very good condition.
