Two Civil War Sixth-Plate Ambrotypes in Half Cases

The first image depicts a seated Union infantry officer with his sword, the bugle on his kepi signifying his branch of service. The second image shows a man holding the reins of a noble white horse; he also appears to be holding a Hardee hat, but there is not enough evidence in the image to confirm a military association.
