Mid-20th century, (6) hand-painted and gilt lacquer boxes to include (5) Soviet Union boxes with Russian folklore scenes to lids, each marked with region of production, title, and artist's signature to lid or underside, some dated, most marked "Made in USSR" to underside; and (1) Kashmir style cylindrical box with forest scene, unmarked.
