Early 18th century, tin-glazed earthenware, decorated in triadic pallet of red, green, and blue floral arabesques, of squat baluster form featuring scrolled double handles and central spout, with conforming finial cover, the underside with "2" mark, retaining collector label of Annette C. Chapman, and dealer label of "Matthew & Elisabeth Sharpe Antiques/ Spring Hill, Conshohocken, Pennsylvania."

The posset pot was a type of lidded vessel used in England during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries for posset, a drink made from a mixture of curdled milk, spices, and alcohol.

Scattered restoration to the upper 1/3 body, spout, and some rim fritting; cover with some restoration to rim and edge fritting.
