England, 1871, tin-glazed earthenware columnar pedestal in four part form with pale blue ground and bas-relief ribbon swag draped in fruit and flowers above acanthus leaves and acorns wrapping lower sections, the underside marked "MINTON" with date marks for November 1871 and shape number 891.

Several scattered hairlines throughout; nicks and small chips to rim at top; glaze chipping to top; area of loss to joining of third to fourth section towards base; areas of toned crazing; slight unevenness to mounting of top section to middle; dust soiling to crevices.
