Early 19th century, pine or deal secondary, of rectangular form with fine oval shell marquetry inlay to the obverse and lid center, inlaid marquise escutcheon, the perimeter decorated in banded and linear inlays, opens to twin compartments.

Good age appropriate condition; once may have had lids to the compartments, not present; old but likely later painted interior; a few minor inlay losses.
