Two Antique Meissen Porcelain Figures

Germany, hand-painted and gilt porcelain figures, the first a late 19th-early 20th century "Cupid with Basket" from the Love series, with crossed swords mark, model number, and "59" to underside; the second a second quarter 20th century figure of a boy and bird cage, with crossed swords mark and model number to underside.

Tallest 7 1/2 in.

Cupid figure with loss to basket handle now fitted with string, breaks and repairs to left arm, small break to ribbon wrapping arrow to base, chip and nicks to underside; boy with birdcage with several losses and breaks and repairs to leaves of tree behind cage, restoration to one leaf, loss to cage door.
