Last quarter 19th century, unmarked, the larger in rectangular form with silver-tone metal, ebony, and mother of pearl inlays, the lid cartouche labeled "TEA," inlaid lozenge escutcheon, opens to twin-lidded and lined compartments (4 1/4 x 7 1/2 x 5 in.); the second in cubic form, with silver-toned metal stringing and escutcheon, alongside mixed wood parquetry inlays, finished with lid carved gadrooning to the lid perimeter, lined open interior (4 x 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 in.). Both include key.
