Vintage Signed Acoma Pueblo Pottery Olla

New Mexico, second quarter 20th century, hand-coiled earthenware, ovoid form with slightly concave underside, black pigment with orange and white slip, featuring geometric designs to body, signed "ACOMA" and "RS" to underside.

This lot is presented with Seven Families in Pueblo Pottery, a publication in conjunction with a 1974 museum exhibition of Pueblo pottery by the University of New Mexico's Maxwell Museum of Anthropology.
