A Wyoming native from a pioneer ranching family, Bob Barlow was celebrated for his plein air paintings inspired by the landscapes of Wyoming and Montana, as well as travels to East Africa, Russia, and Prague. Featured in American Artist and Big Sky Journal, his work was exhibited widely, including at the Bradford Brinton Memorial Museum. He was a member of the National Arts Club and the Salmagundi Club in New York.
