Seth Winegar, born in 1974 in Bountiful, Utah, is a contemporary oil painter celebrated for his moody, tonalist landscapes and still lifes. He began his formal art education studying under wildlife painter Michael Coleman and sharpened his craft through workshops at Scottsdale Artist’s School with instructors such as Sherrie McGraw and Richard Schmid. Winegar’s works are known for their rich, thick brushstrokes, muted color palettes, and the intimate, atmospheric quality he brings to scenes drawn from the western United States.
