Late 19th century, the first in rectangular form with vaulted lid, oak secondary, mixed wood inlays with bone and ebony geometric inlays, mother of pearl shell inlays, brass mounted escutcheon and apical handle, the side lifts to reveal a hidden pull out drawer (4 1/2 x 10 x 3 /4 in.); the second an inlaid mahogany jewelry box, hinged lid with ornate parquetry inlays, and inlaid escutcheon, lifting to reveal divided tray having a central inlaid star design with inlaid "B.H." monogram to the underside, lifting to further lined storage beneath (5 x 11 3/4 x 8 in.); the third a document box in thuja burl veneers, rectangular form with canted corners and open interior (4 1/2 x 9 1/4 x 7 in.).
