Possibly Carrara carved marble, unsigned, bust length profile of the Virgin, finely rendered in the Neoclassical style, presented in a parcel gilt carved wood frame.

Light staining to marble; some area of repair to the lower drapery; frame with surface abrasions and chipping, with some areas of rubbing to the gilt.
