Circa 1800, two part form, deal and oak secondary, upper bookcase with cove molded cornice, two hinged shaped raised panel doors, shelved interior over eight pigeonholes and three fitted drawers, over two candle slides, the bureau with hinged slant front lid having bread board ends and molded edge with loper support, interior with red embossed leather writing surface, central hinged prospect door flanked by two column form document drawers, six pigeonholes and six fitted drawers, the case with two over three graduated drawers with molded edge, applied bracket foot base.

Upper doors with some finish inconsistency; slant lid with marring and small edge chips; upper case board with patch above lock to bureau; old but later pulls; tight old shrinkage crack to lower left side of case; feet are old and appear original.
