The larger with a dovetailed walnut case, yellow pine secondary, possibly Southern, of rectangular form with dovetailed and nailed construction, brass mounted escutcheon, open interior (8 x 7 1/2 x 15 in.); the smaller also of rectangular form with bevel paneled hinged lid, featuring maple and mahogany parquetry veneers, line and dot inlays, opening to a white pine interior (3 1/2 x 11 1/4 x 8 in.). Both unmarked.
