Ovoid ceramic forms with tall necks and ash glaze, decorated with impressed designs at the shoulder with most highlighted by light blue glass runs; the larger with additional incised concentric rings on the body and neck, with apprentice stamp of Daniel Johnston to underside indicating the production date of 1997-2001 (10 3/4 in.); the smaller with flared rim, artist's stamp, and additionally stamped "1999" and "50" denoting the 50th firing in November 1999 (8 1/4 in.).
The larger with rim very slightly rough, an area of glaze blistering, and foot with imperfections from the glaze firing and a few small chips; the smaller with a small chip to underside.
