Two Orange and Yellow North Carolina Pottery Vases

(2) 1920s-40s earthenware pots with orange lead glaze, three applied loop handles, and raised bands at midsection: the first with yellow slip to the upper half, with Jugtown Ware (Seagrove) stamp to underside; the second with yellow slip trailing top portion, marked with North State Pottery (Sanford) second stamp to underside.

Tallest 6 3/4 in.

Firing cracks to handles of Jugtown vase; glaze flakes to rim of North State vase, a few nicks to underside.
