Pair of Chinese Area Rugs

Mid 20th century, wool on cotton foundation; each navy blue with central circular motif of stylized foliate and geometric forms, field with scattered circular motifs, corners with geometric spandrels, the borders with lattice motifs separated by cartouches of stylized floral and geometric motifs.

One 2 ft. 3 in. x 4 ft. 6 in. and the second 2 ft. 3 in. x 4 ft. 3 in.
