Two Framed Antique French Fans

19th century, (2) fans with conforming giltwood frames and dusty blue velvet backing including a hand-painted and gilt paper fan with floral and foliate decoration surrounding a central scene of figures playing instruments, with carved painted and gilt bone guards and sticks depicting orientalist scenes; and a silk and black lace fan with carved and silver gilt bone guards and sticks, all unmarked.

Largest 15 3/4 x 24 1/2 in.

Paper fan with some light staining and gilt loss to paper; silk and lace fan with some minor yellowing to silk, a few small flakes to gilt frame.
