Overall fair estate condition, bores are bright and shiny with very light shallow pitting scattered throughout, barrels ring with resonant tone, barrel to action fit is tight, faintly visible damascus pattern with light nicks and dings on barrel surface, engraving is largely clean and crisp with some oxidation around a few lock plate edges, darkly finished buttstock and forend shows attractive figuring, checkering is clean and sharp, horn buttplate shows few tiny worm holes and one minor chip along left edge, stock oval is tarnished but otherwise unadorned.
