Overall fair estate condition, bores are shiny and show very shallow scattered pitting throughout, barrels with with a muted bell tone, barrel to action fit is very loose, only slight damascus patten remains visible, left hammer is a replacement that does not match the right, some light screw slot damage, engraving throughout remains sharp and clean, fine lines per inch checkering pattern visible on both buttstock and forend yet more worn smooth on forend, original widows peak buttplate replaced with thin strip of leather screwed in place, some attractive figuring present in buttstock, original stock finish stripped leaving a satin sheen plain finish, stock oval is devoid of personalization.
