Serial number 8259 present on top tang, barrel and stock, single shot flintlock action receiver, 28 7/8 in. barrel, brass trigger guard, barrel band, buttplate and pan, sling loops, dovetail front sight, flip-up rear sight with four elevations, hammer lock mechanism.

Overall fair estate condition, metals finishes are worn to a coined patina with surface rust speckling down length of barrel, stock has been broken, pinned, and refinished, lock mechanism works as designed.
