Plymouth, Connecticut, circa 1880s, figured mahogany case with turned half columns over scrolled corbel supports, flanking (2) glass front doors with gilt bordered eglomise panels, eight days brass dual weight-driven movement stamped "S THOMAS / PLYMOUTH CONN. / U.S.A.," operating a hand-painted metal dial with Roman chapters, retaining period label to interior. Includes (2) weights, winding key, and pendulum.
