The first is a scarce oversize ribbon from 1861 designed by S. Chèvre and made by Isaac Dreyfus of Basel, Switzerland in order to celebrate Lincoln's first inauguration (5 x 9-3/8 in.) (minor spotting, else crisp and clean); the second ribbon is an elusive memorial from 1865 featuring an abbreviated excerpt from the slain President's second inaugural speech (2.75 x 14 in.)(light browning with some fracturing to the silk).
