Early 19th century, hand-painted arched metal dial with fruit spandrel decoration, signed "G. Tyte. / Wells." beneath a moon phase lunette and calendar, dual train eight days movement, the false plate signed WALKER & HUGHES, set within a inlaid mahogany case, with broken arch pediment and brass eagle surmount, glass front dial door flanked by fluted fully turned columns, above a rectangular case with fluted quarter columns flanked by upper and lower cove moldings, door featuring inlaid shell inlay, raised on carved bracket feet, with (2) pendulums, winding key, and two weights.

88 x 19 1/4 x 9 1/2 in.

Front base panel with area of separation and cracks and staining; a few shrinkage cracks to the case; cracks and repairs to the pediment; dial and lunette with areas of wear and flaking to the painted finish. Please see Terms and Conditions of Sale: Clocks and Watches.
