Circa 1860, salt glazed stoneware, shoulder signed "W-A-LEWIS / GALESVILLE-N-Y" above the "2" capacity mark, of semi-ovoid form with single handle and bulging spout, decorated with slip trailed floral motif.

Some chipping to spout rim; hairlines to upper and lower handle.
