Early 20th century, well developed tall pierced carved backs with all over relief carving, green velvet over upholstered spring cushioned seats with brass tack trim, serpentine front seat rail with pierced carved skirt featuring shell and scroll motifs, cabriole legs with hairy hoof feet, shaped stretcher base.

each approximately 51.5 x 22 x 18 in., seat height 21 in.

Finely hand carved throughout with some slight variations.

Retains a Singer upholstery label; some crest rail joint repairs; some scuffs to the legs from use; one acanthus leaf scroll at central crest rail repaired; overall in good usable condition.
