Georgian Inlaid Mahogany Davenport

Mid 19th century, mahogany and mixed wood veneers, deal and chestnut secondary, top with recessed hinged lid box opening to reveal divided compartments with hidden pen tray compartment, hinged slanted leather writing surface opens to reveal two small interior drawers, the right side of the case with four drawers, the left side with faux drawers, front turned supports, front panel with inlaid parrot, turned feet on casters, finished on all sides.

Later leather writing surface; interior rear compartment missing two dividers; no key; left case side with shrinkage cracks.
