Daniel Johnston (Seagrove, NC), Tall Pottery Vessel

Late 20th-early 21st century, wood fired with salt and ash glaze, incised "D" mark to the underside, tall ovoid jar form with four applied loop handles each with manganese glaze accents, and cylindrical neck, the whole decorated with incised scrolled and lattice linework patterns.

Good estate condition; some kiln accretions to the underside intrinsic to the making.
