Boards pristine; a couple of original free endpapers retained with most replaced; all volumes lacking half-titles; some leaves with loss to speckling at edges due to rebinding; occasional gutter wear, and each volume with some age and handling wear such as an occasional small chip or tear, grime or small stain, foxing, and toning; vol. I title and final text leaf re-jointed, and a few leaves slightly loose; vol. III with wear to lower margins of two text leaves.
