Possibly Connecticut, circa 1810, mahogany veneer, white pine secondary, solid one board top with datoed joinery and slight rear overhang, distinctive triple wood inlaid edge, four conforming graduated cock beaded drawers with vertical veneer and light wood line inlay, scalloped skirt, French bracket feet, the base with repeating triple wood inlaid motif.
35 x 42.75 x 21.75 in., case width 40.5 in.
Top with center dark stain spot; later pulls; some cock beading loss especially to lower drawer; skirt and feet are original but with shrinkage splitting; drawer guides and drawer runners rebuilt.
