Mid 18th century, the wide form featuring a traditional camel back, over-upholstery with brass tack trim and slip cushion and two throw pillows, traditional scrolled arm with relief carved support of acanthus leaf and rosette, six carved legs (four in the front), each with cartouche carved knee and hairy paw carved feet.

Later upholstery with minor staining; small carving loss to front seat rail edge by rosette; wear at toes; overall good estate condition.
