Circa 1800-1810, cast brass with brazed construction with iron billet bar, unsigned, columnar form shaft with egg on pedestal finial, raised atop a rectangular stepped plinth issuing dual cabriole legs with pad feet, includes period stepped iron log rests.

23 1/4 x 13 1/2 x 21 1/4 in.

A very similar shorter form showing the same plinth, finial, and feet are included in the Winterthur Collection, museum object number 2004.0014.002.

Some surface marks and nicks to brass from age and use; overall good estate condition.
