Late 18th century, Massachusetts or Connecticut, white pine and chestnut secondary, two part form, the bonnet with three spiral twist urn detachable finials, arched bonnet with cove molding and terminating in carved rosettes, central plinth, three upper side by side small drawers, the central with fan over recessed panel above four graduated flush drawers, the case and drawer stiles with cock beaded molding, flanked by fluted stiles, the base with conforming top molding above a single long drawer above three side by side cherry wood drawers, the central with repeating relief carved fan and recessed panel, conforming recessed skirt rail with drop finials, four tall cabriole legs, ball claw feet.

84.5 x 43 x 21 in., upper case width 39 in.

The three finials are old but likely later, now currently detached and one with broken dowel; later pulls; drawer runners rebuilt; missing locks; later drawer guides; back boards reset but appear to be original; while the case and drawer fronts are mahogany, the lower three drawers have cherry facings.
