Attributed to the piedmont North Carolina or central Virginia, circa 1810-1820, two part form, poplar and yellow pine secondary, the upper case with an applied cove molded cornice, above two hinged doors with eight window lights and molded mullions, shelved interior, door frames with scribed edge, the tall base with applied top molded edge above two side by side lipped drawers above two tall paneled hinged cabinet doors, shelved interior, stylized French bracket feet with scalloped return.

89.25 x 39 x 20.25 in.

The top board of the base, while original, has been trimmed at the rear edge (originally extended for chair rail trim); upper doors with half inch trim from top to bottom rebuilt for proper attachment at hinges; old but later cornice; upper back boards reset (now with wire head nails); feet are old and appear to be original but with breaks to facings and later right rear brace block; later pulls (missing left pull).
