Southern Federal Cherry Tall Chest of Drawers

Attributed to Kentucky, late 18th century, poplar and white pine secondary, dovetailed case, applied molded cornice, three over five graduated cock beaded drawers, flush paneled sides, applied beaded trim at base, scalloped skirt, French bracket feet to the front and rear; original vertical back boards with beaded tongue and groove.

65.5 x 44 x 20.25 in., case width 41 in.

Break and repair to upper right rear edge of right side case; later pulls; original skirt and feet; one bail missing (but present); missing beaded edge at left side base.
