Early 19th century, poplar and white pine secondary, dovetailed case, hinged slant lid, loper supports, bread board ends, distinctive interior featuring (10) valanced pigeonholes above five side by side small drawers, the case with four graduated flush drawers, distinctive central drop and scalloped skirt, straight feet.

Dark staining to top; cut, spline and patch at lid by hinge area; later hinges; wear and staining to interior writing surface; later pulls; drawer runners rebuilt; later drawer guides; lower left side of skirt with two inch break, detached (but present); left rear foot original but with loss to rear edge.
