Short Mountain Woodbury, Tennessee, finely woven white oak, with diagonal double weave patterned rim and handle motif, the larger pencil inscribed to interior "Nelda J. Merritt River Road Short Mountain Woodbury, Tenn. 37190" (11 x 12 x 9 1/2 in.); the smaller ink inscribed to interior "Nelda J. Merritt RT. 2 Box 21 Short Mtn. Rd. Woodbury Tenn. 37190". (10 1/2 x 11 1/2 x 8 1/2 in.).
