Circa 1910, finely woven in white oak splints with bentwood handle and rim, converging-rib kidney form with double wrapped rim, arched handle with X-form lashings with finishing nail, retaining original surface patina with oxidized period nails, a few inscriptions appearing to read "Long" to interior and underside center, otherwise unmarked.

Mary and Eliza Shelton were listed in the 1910 county census as "Basket Makers at Home" (a home industry) meticulously crafting baskets from 1880 to early 20th century.
Good estate condition; a few small areas broken weavers; one weave with at rim with glue repair; some areas of staining to the underside.
