Ronald Morán is a Salvadoran contemporary artist known for his multidisciplinary work in painting, drawing, collage, installation, photography, and video. He studied Plastic Arts at the National Art Center (CENAR) in San Salvador and pursued applied arts at Dr. José Matías Delgado University, also completing residencies in Mexico and Spain. His work explores social themes such as migration, domestic and structural violence, and everyday life, often using familiar objects and spaces to provoke reflection. In 2006, EXIT Magazine recognized him as one of the 100 most influential contemporary Latin American artists.

Morán has exhibited internationally in venues including the Venice Biennale, Havana Biennale, and Beijing International Biennale, among others. His work is noted for connecting different media to highlight social and political issues, using installations, photographs, and sculptures to make these issues visible and thought-provoking. He continues to live and work in San Salvador, contributing to contemporary Latin American art on the global stage.
