Philip Link was born in Reidsville, North Carolina. He received his BFA in Studio Art and his MFA in Painting from UNC - Greensboro. Link taught art classes in various schools and universities in the Piedmont, and later worked full time as an exhibit designer at the NC Zoo. Since retirement in 2014, he spends most of his time and energy in front of an easel.
