Mecklenburg County, early 19th century, poplar and yellow pine secondary, rectangular dovetailed case with an applied gallery trim at top, the distinctive central prospect door with figured walnut with beveled edge opens to reveal an open compartment above two graduated drawers, flanked by two deep drawers above three graduated long drawers, the door and all drawers with scratch bead, the base with upper scratch bead and featuring a stepped shaped skirt with interior beveled edge, bracket feet with spur.

Overall very good estate condition; the top with sun fading and dark staining; later pulls (in original holes); two locks missing.
