Early 19th century, rosewood veneers with satinwood inlay, rectangular hinge lidded form with inlaid key escutcheon and ring handle to lid, raised on ball feet, opens to red leather lined interior with twin lidded compartments with remnants of original tin lining, flanking a central well with early blown glass mixing bowl.
